On a perfect April morning, Sydney, Scott, their daughter Holly (and their two fur babies) awoke to the sun peaking over the horizon and ocean waves breaking on the shore of the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa. With the sound of the ocean and the Blue Angels whirring in the background all afternoon, they enjoyed their morning getting ready together before their seaside ceremony, where they’d vow to love each other for the rest of their lives, with their closest friends and family surrounding them.

We started off Alyssa & Luke’s romantic couples session on a sunny afternoon in front of the Vero Beach Museum of Art. These two are so much fun in front of the camera. I quickly found out that these they were definitely made for each other. They love Jesus, traveling to new places, and are very passionate about their jobs. After we took some beautiful portraits at the museum, we headed off to Sandfly Lane near the beach and found that we had the most incredible lighting over there. The sun was beaming through the gorgeous oak trees and added the most beautiful golden glow to their portraits. It felt like a literal dream! We then walked across the street for some quick beach portraits and again were blessed with some more gorgeous sunlight. After the beach, we headed to Riverside Park where a romantic sunset picnic was waiting for them under the oaks. I love how clearly you can feel the love & joy through their images. It truly doesn’t get much better than this!
